Taylormade will also release all black R9 Supermax fairway woods and rescues both with FCT and a new set of irons. The Supermax FW features a bigger sized head (#3 175cc #5 152cc #7 146cc) with mid high custom 455 Stainless Steel faces. The 450SS body FW's are designed for high trajectory and distance performance. While the R9 Supermax FW does have FCT, it is naturally weighted for draw bias.

With the new FCT Sleeve the R9 Supermax comes in at an ultralight weight of 287g (R Flex)! This makes for increased swing speed and more overall distance for the average golfer. The all Titanium head features an inverted cone technology face and ultra thin wall crown at 0.6mm.

Features:

1. Stylish color head and shaft of female models only, and adopt the accent color of pink head cover. Proposed golf style stylish female golfers.

2. Types of trajectory can be self-8" FCT "by 8 can adjust the trajectory of the street, about 30 yards left and right horizontal trajectory of variable width possible.

3. Provide large volumes of head material, yet still strong up high trajectory distance gently. Initial velocity at impact the ball high, strong at high trajectory with reduced backspin, lengthen the distance. The low center of gravity enabled by the larger RBIs.

The SuperMax also features Flight Control Technology which allows for the head to be adjusted to 8 different positions altering trajectory and direction by changing the loft, lie and face angle. With the new FCT Sleeve, the R9 Supermax comes in at an ultralight weight. This makes for increased swing speed and more overall distance for the average golfer.

The matte finish would be a plus for anyone who is bothered by sun reflections on conventional steel shafts. They are quite light, and in stiff flex, they felt relatively stout. The shaft’s bend profile and light weight probably helped contribute to the high ball flight. The light weight should also help increase one’s swing speed a little, contributing to a little increase in distance. Combined with the weight of the club head itself, I never felt like the club was too light.

In conclusion, if you are looking for a super game improvement fairway wood, I think, you should get this club as soon as you can. It was extremely high for me, generating a lot of backspin. Certainly enough backspin to stop the ball dead on any green I played.
